We are looking forward to welcoming you in Jerusalem in the summer of 2007. At the 21st Zimriya choirs from the four corners of the world will meet and sing in full harmony.
Men, women and youth of different countries, traditions and languages will spend ten days together on Mount Scopus making music and thus contributing to friendship between people and understanding between nations. We are happy to host you all.
Shalom!
Ilana Barnea - Director of the Zimriya
Naomi Shemer, the most popular Israeli poet and composer, wrote in one of her songs: "Singing is like the flowing of the Jordan River".
I am pleased to invite you to sing with us in Jerusalem, in the Holy Land, where the Jordan River runs and to enjoy a wonderful festival of songs and singers who will join us from all over the world.
I am looking forward to welcoming you in Jerusalem.
Yuval Ben-Ozer - Music Director of the Zimriya
